Centerville only played two games last week but Kolby Micetich made the most of the Big Reds sweeping a doubleheader against Chariton.
In game one, Micetich went 2-for-2 with a triple and a RBI. He would go off in game two, the junior catcher went 2-for-2 again with a hit-by-pitch, walk, double, triple and seven RBIs.
All in all, Micetich reached base in all but one of his seven at-bats against Chariton, with his one out being a RBI sacrifice fly. Between the two games he would officially go a perfect 4-for-4 with a double, a pair of triples and eight RBIs.
Micetich is batting .270 this season with one home run and 19 RBIs. He has also been solid behind the plate, helping Centerville to a conference-best 2.77 team-ERA this year.
Micetich and No. 7 Centerville (19-3) get back on the field on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Oskaloosa (16-8).
