Seymour got off to a hot start of their season last week with wins over Central Decatur (won 10-7) and Moulton-Udell (won 8-0). Jaden Enright played a major part in the Warriors’ first week on the mound and at the plate.
Through two games, Enright is batting .333 with a .455 on-base percentage. He had one double while collecting two RBIs and scoring a team-high three runs.
On the mound, he would get the complete game shutout in Seymour’s 8-0 win over Moulton-Udell. Enright would give up three hits and walk five but was lights out when he needed to be, striking out 13 on the night.
Enright and Seymour (2-0) travel to Orient-Macksburg (0-4) on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
