11:53 p.m. An accident was reported in the 500 block of S. East St. in Moravia. Jesryn Ida Thomas, 17, of Huxley, was driving a 1998 Cadillac Deville in the 25000 block of Highway J3T entering the city limits of Moravia and encountered a right hand corner. According to the crash report, the vehicle entered the corner at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate it correctly, entering into a skid and over-correcting then leaving the roadway, striking a culvert and overturning. The vehicle came to a rest on its top. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $4,000 and damage to an underground cable was estimated at $50. Thomas was cited for failure to maintain control and was listed as being possibly injured.
8:43 p.m. An accident was reported in the 18000 block of Highway J5T. Teresa Lynn Conger, 47, of Seymour, was driving a 2018 Toyota Highlander westbound when a deer entered the roadway and was struck by the vehicle. Damage to the Highlander was estimated at $4,000.
