Throwback Thursday: A throwback of a throwback
This picture was published in the newspaper 50 years ago as a “Do You Remember?” piece. This building burned down in 1927, but was replaced by a new one and Fisher Lumber resumed business. It would later become Craver Lumber Company. The location was at the north end of Drake Avenue. The Daily Iowegian and the Appanoose County Historical and Coal Mining Museum are partnering together to bring our readers “Throwback Thursday.” Watch each Thursday’s Daily Iowegian for a look at the past of Appanoose County.
