Iowa Trust and Savings Bank has donated $2,000 towards security improvements at the Kids World Daycare and Preschool center which includes a Pro-Care security system at the main entrance and installing new front doors. The security system would prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to the center. The system would protect the youngest citizens of our community while offering parents a peace of mind while away from their children.

Kids World has Centerville’s longest tradition of quality early childhood care and education programming, having been in operation for 28 years. The center opened in March of 1991. Kids World moved to its current location on the Indian Hills Community College campus in 1997. Currently, they have 102 children enrolled in our center, from 74 households of working primary caregivers. The center takes children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The center offers quality three-year-old preschool as well as being part of the Statewide Voluntary Four-Year-old Preschool Program.
