Bratz, Bohle marry in October

CENTERVILLE — Jeremy Bratz and Andie Bohle were married Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 at Solid Rock Church of God on Centerville.

Pastor Kristopher Wattelet officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Marlys Schmalle and Del Bohle and step-father Mike Kallis of Spring Grove, Minn.

The groom is the son of Kathy Bratz of Centerville and the late Richard Houser of Corydon.

The bride was escorted by her step- father.

Standing up with the bride was Kari Shultz (friend of the bride) Jymae Stoen (friend of the bride) Kim Kallis (bride's sister) Janel Clauson (friend of the bride) and Lacy Ruth (cousin of the groom)

The bride's niece; Morgan Monroe, was the flower girl.

Standing up with the groom was Denver Walker (friend of the groom) Zack Hawkins (friend of the groom) Anthony Ruth (cousin of the groom) Cameron Hindley (friend of the groom) Nikhil Batra (friend of the groom)

The bride is a graduate of  Brown College, where she recieved an Associate's degree in broadcasting. She is currently employed at FMC Broadcasting in Ottumwa.

The groom is a graduate of Brown College, where he earned an Associate's degree in graphic design. He is employed by Musco Lighting.

The new family resides in Centerville.

The Iowegian wants readers to think about the solicitation ordinance that will prevent groups or individuals from entering a roadway to solicit money. The Centerville City Council in June by a 5-0 vote passed the first reading of just such an ordinance. Public pressure and during a subsequent special meeting, the council voted 3-2 to table the ordinance. A second special meeting to discuss the solicitation ordinance is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at City Hall. So, the question of the week is, "Do you or do you not support the ordinance to prevent solicitation of funds in city streets?"
