•EASTERN STAR, Centerville Chapter, will have a stated meeting Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the Centerville Masonic Temple honoring mothers. Refreshments and fellowship follow the meeting. Temple cleaning Monday, May 5, at 6 p.m.

•NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES (NARFE). The location has been changed due to the closing of Bastas Pizza & Steakhouse in Albia. The meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. at Angel’s at 307 N. Frontage Road in Moravia on Highway 5.

•SUNDAY GOSPEL SING will be Sunday, May 11, at 6 p.m. at the Historic Second Baptist Church on South 18th. Jack Fox will perform. Bill Thom will lead group singing. Everyone is invited.
