•ANNUAL SPRING DINNER at Drake Ave­nue Christian Church on May 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. Adults $6, children under 12 $3. Tickets available from any hospital auxiliary member or at the door.
•MYSTIC BOOSTER CLUB BREAKFAST will be served the first Saturday of each month, 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., $3.

•EASTERN STAR, Centerville Chapter, will have a stated meeting Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the Centerville Masonic Temple honoring mothers. Refreshments and fellowship follow the meeting. Temple cleaning Monday, May 5, at 6 p.m.
•NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES (NARFE) will meet May 7 at 11:30 a.m. at Bastas Pizza and Steakhouse on the SE corner of the Albia square. All employed and retired employees of the federal government regarding enhancing benefits for retirement.
