•CHAPTER KA, P.E.O., will meet Monday, March 3, in the home of Melissa Robb at 1:30 p.m. Co-hostesses: JeNel Barth and Deanna Allen. The program will be election and installation of officers and election of delegate and alternate to the state convention. Also, Kathleen Ramsey will give her program on “Truth.”
•DR. SEUSS THEME WEEK starts at Drake Public Library Monday, March 3, and runs through Saturday, March 8.

•TOPS  (Take Off Pounds Sens­ibly) meets every Tues­day at the Firs t Baptist Church. Weigh-in 6 to 6:30 p.m. Meeting 6:30 to 7 p.m. Everyone welcome.
•VFW POST 526 will meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. All members encouraged to attend.
•APPANOOSE COUNTY DEMOCRAT PARTY CENTRAL COMMITTEE  meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the 18-80 Club.

•EAGLES BINGO will be held on the Levee every Sunday. Early bird at 5:30 p.m., regular at 6 p.m. New prices and prizes, $1.
•SUNDAY GOSPEL SING will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at the Historic Second Baptist Church on South 18th. Barbershop Chorus will perform. Bill Thom will lead group singing and everyone is invited.
