The Moravia High School and Seymour High School volleyball teams won their first round district matchups on Monday evening.

Moravia disposed of Russell in three games (25-8, 25-10, 25-6) while Seymour swept Mormon Trail (25-23, 25-20, 25-23).

Moulton-Udell received a first-round bye and is scheduled to play Seymour in the district semifinals tonight in Moulton at 7 p.m.

Moravia will also be in action tonight as they play host to Lineville-Clio.

Centerville begins district play on Monday when they travel to Davis County.
