Howar girls defeated in three of four games

The Howar Junior High seventh grade girls opened their season on Nov. 20 against Davis County. The “A” team lost with a score of 32-22. Maddison Lange was the leading scorer with nine points followed by Sydney Ocker with five, Kendra Lee with four, Kiley Micetich and Haley Gottman each had two points.

The “B” team lost 32-6 with Nicole Seay, Morgan Schmell and Gottman each scoring two points.

On Nov. 24 the girls played Clarke with the “A” team losing 34-14. Lange led with six points followed by Kaitlyn Moore with four points and Micetich and Ocker each contributed two points.

The “B” team defeated Clarke with a score of 14-12. Ally Ferguson scored eight points while Gottman, Seay and Cheyenne Lemmon each had two points.

The seventh grade teams will be back in action on Dec. 2 at home against Oskaloosa. The games will start at 4:15 p.m.
