Published August 03, 2008 10:17 am - Appanoose County 10-year-old All Stars The Appanoose County 10-year-old All Stars participated in five tournaments this year. On June 28 in Cantril, the All Stars took fifth. Appanoose County took third place in the next three tournaments in Chariton, Ottumwa and Fairfield. They finished the year by taking first place on July 26 in Milo. Appanoose defeated South Des Moines, Norwalk and Milo twice to take home the first place trophy. They are sponsored by Joe Zaputil Trucking, Johnson’s Moving and Sonic Drive-In.
