Seymour ends season

The Seymour Warriors ended their season on Tuesday night in Moravia as they battled against Cardinal.
The Warriors were defeated in the first round of districts with a final score of 12-2.
On July 7 the boys were defeated by Moulton-Udell with a score of 14-3.
Cody Jellison took the loss on the mound allowing three hits and five runs. Also pitching were Travis Young and Trevor Sherrard.
Young, Sherrard and Jalen Jones each scored a run for Seymour while Young and Jellison each hit doubles and Jellison, Young and Jones had singles.
On July 9 the boys ended their regular season with a win over Mormon Trail 6-5.
Trey McMurry led the offense going three-for-four with three runs, two RBIs, a double and a home run.
Skyler Shipp had two hits while Sherrard, Jellison, Jones and Brady McElvain each had singles. Matt Lowe hit a home run.
Young was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts and allowed four hits.
