The ladies opened their golf season on Wednesday with five four-person teams partaking in an Iowa scramble.
Winners for the day were, in a three-way tie of 42, with Nancy Bennett’s team winning first place, by the fourth handicap hole on number two, Marilyn Dwyer’s team winning second, by the first handicap hole on number six, and Gerry Krsnak’s team winning third place.
Mini-tournament was “guess your team score”. Winners with correct guesses were Sherri Meng, Fonda Harris and Gerry Krsnak. Those with one off were Cheryl Brewer and Nancy Bennett.
Any member of the female gender wanting to have a fun day of golf please feel free to come join us. Next week, May 14, meet at the club by 10 a.m. Cheryl Brewer will pair partners with her bingo ball drawing. Play for the day will be regular golf on the front nine. Mini tournament will be “guess your putts”. Evening golfers come out when possible.
