Captive Free to perform in Centerville

CENTERVILLE — Captive Free, a relational music ministry team sponsored by the Youth Encounter, will be coming to Centerville to share their faith and experiences at the the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, at 15th and Sheridan streets on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.

People of all ages are invited to an inspiring time of Christian music and personal sharing. Four young people will share about their lives in Christ, their musical talents, puppet show and their experiences on the Youth Encounter Team this past year.

Captive Free has been moving around the country sharing themselves in churches, schools, assisted living houses, detention centers, soup kitchens and Christian youth conferences. This year's them is “Thrive” from Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Bring your whole youth group or friends and family to meet the members at 6 p.m. for food and fellowship. They will also be helping with the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, Jan. 13 with Pastor Jeremy McElvain as Pastor at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
