New Hope's Testimony Night -- so encouraging!

The Daily Iowegian

---- — On Friday, July 12 the evening was filled with praise and thanksgiving, as New Hope Ministry and Counseling Center presented their annual Testimony Night.

The entire program was filled with encouraging words, as one featured speaker and half a dozen others gave testimony to the transforming work of the Lord in their lives. One counseling graduate, two counselee’s, two seminar graduates, a counselor and a prayer partner shared some powerful words of encouragement to an attentive audience. Each speaker had some wonderful, as well as some very hard things that they had gone through and how the Lord helped them deal with each difficult situation. He brought true healing and deliverance, as only He can.

When our minds were renewed with the truth of God’s Word, we are transformed into children of God. Being able to give witness to the power of Almighty God blesses both the speaker and the hearer. God is able to work on the behalf of any who will come to Him and apply His Truth(s) to their lives.

All of these precious people love the Lord and their lives are wonderful examples of what God can and will do in a heart that is hungry for Him. A special thank-you goes out to First Baptist Church for all of their help and hospitality in allowing us to hold our event there, as well as to all of the volunteers who give sacrificially of their time and providing refreshments for the evening.
