“Today, about 60 percent of Americans do not attend church regularly and many many continue to struggle with issues that are draining them of hope not only for the nations but their own lives. All of us are concerned for not only the nation but for the many people we see who are struggling and looking for answers,” said one of the sponsors, the Rev. Richard Grimes. “It is not about denominations or striving to gain members in our respective churches, it is about proclaiming the only message that can change our country and to bring hope into the lives of all of us whether we attend church, whether we are young or old or middle ages, no matter who we are. Only Christ can do that.”
This event is open to everyone regardless of age or church background. This is more than a spiritual event but also is a historical and cultural event as the Rev. Graham, who has been an icon worldwide makes his last call to America. It is something everyone, every American will want to see and experience regardless of background. That also includes other communities who have also indicated interest. It is free. It is encouraged for everyone coming to also invite and bring guests and friends and neighbors.
