---- — New Hope Counseling Center wishes to express that the Rummage Mania was tremendous success. The outpouring from this community was incredible. The items and clothing blessed dozens of families who might not otherwise have been able to obtain needed items and even Christmas gifts for their children.

The First Baptist Church allowed us to use their gym and kitchen, and to all the New Hope volunteers who helped us unpack, organize, and clean up afterwards, and to those of you who baked some awesome breads and goodies, and finally, to everyone who donated items of every size and shape, we absolutely couldn’t have done it without you.

Many shoppers expressed their appreciation. One lady recently had a fire in her home was able to find some things she needed. More than $3,200 was received in financial donations. The remaining shoes and clothing were donated to C.R.O.S.S. Ministries, located in Osceola. This Christian Ministry offers supplies and services to those in need, sending medical equipment and supplies to Romania and other countries. The miscellaneous items were taken to a consignment auction and will add to the financial blessing for New Hope. So everything donated was a blessing all the way around.

An event like this takes lots of planning and help to make it happen. We are blessed to live in a community where people see a need and step up to help. God Bless You All.
