Drake Ave. to hold Messy Church

BASIC Cafe will hold it’s monthly Messy Church on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Drake Avenue Christian Church.

Thanksgiving dinner set

Everyone is invited to enjoy a free meal and fellowship every Monday night at Faith Methodist Church on Highway 5 north of John Deere.

Meals are available from 5-6 p.m. Rides are no longer being provided at this time.

The menu for Monday will be turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, cranberries, pumpkin pie with whipped topping and milk, water, lemonade, coffee or tea to drink.

Faith Methodist will host this meal.

Musicale planned for Dec. 1

Area churches will gather for the 44th Annual Christmas Musicale on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church. An offering will be taken up for The Lord’s Cupboard. Refreshments and carols will follow in the church basement. Everyone is invited to attend.
