---- — As Valentines Day is here and thinking on what to write I was remembering when I was back in fifth grade, by the way was a long time ago, we used to make valentine boxes out of shoe boxes, decorate them and cut a hole in the top to put valentine cards in them.
We used to by a pack of valentine cards and in the pack there were always one that was bigger than the rest, which was for that special valentine.
With that in mind I decided to play a trick on one of my friends, so I took that special valentine’s card and wrote on it, “From A Secret Admirer.” I then took some perfume and sprayed the card and put it in the sack with the other cards and took them to school, I put each one in the valentine boxes taking special care so that no one would see me putting in that “special” valentine.
At the end of the day we were to open the boxes and read the cards. I was so excited to see the expression on my friends face, but I was the one who was surprised. Everyone in the class had a valentine card that had perfume on it and everyone in the class knew who did it, to say the least. I was so embarrassed. I guessed I left a tell tale sign.
With that being said there is someone that is sending out a valentine card that says “Be Mine.” He is not sending it out to just one person but to all. He is saying, “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
The scriptures tell us in John 3:16-17, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. God’s special gift to us saying ‘Be Mine’
How about you today? He loves you and all He wants is for you to “Be His” you are always on His mind and He cares so much for you. Ask Him into your heart today and make this a special Valentines Day that you won’t forget.
God bless you and happy Valentines Day.
