Hope Pregnancy Center
According to board member Pastor Spencer Keroff, Hope Pregnancy Center, will provide free services for women, such as pregnancy tests, community support referrals (medical social, adoptive and spiritual), baby items and peer counseling.
He said the center will be a pro-life, non-profit organization dedicated to the sanctity of human life that exists to glorify God by providing compassionate, Christian care, Biblical counseling and accurate and true information to women and their families experiencing needs related to a crisis pregnancy.
The board of directors includes Brian Hargrave (chairperson), Alice Beeson (co-secretary), Connie Drake (co-secretary), Carl Heien (treasurer), Sharon Heien, Spencer Keroff, Dave Powell, Larry Sheets and Carol Sheets.
According to Keroff, in order to launch the center, $50,000 is needed. The group has received $29,378 so far in contributions.
“There is a need for $1,100 in pledges monthly and we have $455 so far,” he said.
“Volunteers are needed in many areas to assist the board of directors in launching this new ministry venture.
“Some areas include office work, advertising, newsletter design and promotion of the center. ”
