2:23 a.m. Burglary/theft/criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of North 18th Street. The victim reported damage to a window and the theft of cigarettes. Damages and loss were estimated at $1,014.

May 3

7:52 a.m. An accident was reported at Tenth and Washington streets. Wayne Moore, of Centerville, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet eastbound on Washington Street and Mary Houser, of Centerville, was driving a 2011 Hyundai southbound on Tenth Street. Houser stated she was distracted by her cell phone and as she was looking down, her vehicle collided with Moore’s vehicle. Damage to Houser’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Damage to Moore’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000.

May 4

Nedra Mudra, of Centerville, was backing a 2006 Ford Freestar from the parking lot of Kum and Go at the same time Marvin Jones, of Centerville, was pulling a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier into a parking space. Mudra did not observe Jones’ vehicle and her vehicle collided with it. Damage to Mudra’s vehicle was estimated at $800. Damage to Jones’ vehicle was estimated at $1,300. Jones was charged with having no insurance.

11:46 p.m. Taylor Lynn Eaton, 20, of Centerville, was charged in the 100 block of North Main Street with operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, OWI first offense, driving with a suspended license, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

May 5

7:30 p.m. Joshua John Susin, 32, of Numa, was charged in the 200 block of South 15th Street with enhanced public intoxication.
