4:10 p.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s office reported a vehicle accident in the area of Iowa Highway 2 and 296th Avenue.
Phillip Dustin Carman, 32, of Moulton, driving a 2005 Chevrolet truck west in the29600 block of Highway 2 slowed down for water over the road but the water spun the truck 180 degrees causing it to roll over. Carman was transported to Mercy Medical Center with possible injuries. Damage was estimated at $8,000.
10:18 a.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s office reported a vehicle accident in the area of Iowa Highway 2 and 140th Avenue.
Charles Edward Bunnell, 52, of Centerville, driving a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan west in the 140000 block of Highway 2 when a turkey flew into the driver’s side mirror breaking the mirror and window. Damage was estimated at $1,500.
5:58 p.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s office reported a two vehicle accident in the area of 248th Avenue and 520th Street.
Christian John DeVore, 17, of Centerville, driving a 1993 Ford Ranger south on 248th Avenue was hit by Happy Jones, 48, of Centerville, driving a 2005 Kia Rio.
No injuries were reported.
Damage to the Ranger was estimated at $2,000 and to the Kia at $3,000.
2:34 p.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s office reported a two vehicle accident in the area of Iowa Highway 5 and Highway T30.
William Lane Hatfield, 16, of Centerville, driving a 1998 Chevrolet 1500 truck south on Highway 5, while stopped and preparing to turn left onto T30 was struck by Constance Ann Vanblaricom, 66, of Cincinnati, drivin an estimated $8,000 in damage, the farm fence $100 and the Ford $5,000.
