9 p.m. Tiffany Dawn Firth, 22, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with trespass.

Jan. 8

4:13 p.m. A hit and run was reported in the 23000 block of Highway 5. The victim reported damage to a 2000 Dodge Caravan. Damage was estimated at $200.

7:46 p.m. A juvenile was charged in the 1100 block of West Washington Street with possession of alcohol under age and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 9-10

A juvenile was charged in the 1000 block of West Washington Street with possession of alcohol under age and possession of a controlled substance.

Jan. 9

10:05 p.m. A juvenile was charged in the 1000 block of West Washington Street with possession of alcohol under age. At the same time and place Zachary John Schuster, 19, of Ottumwa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 10

12:42 a.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of South 18th Street. The victim reported damage to a furnace, air conditioner and electrical outlet. Damage was estimated at $270.

5:36 a.m. Derrick Eugene Duffey, 31, of Centerville, was charged in the 19000 block of St. Joseph Drive with second degree burglary and third degree burglary.

3:30 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of South Main Street. The victim reported damage to the rear window of a Pontiac Grand Am. Damage was estimated at $300.

Jan. 11

5:04 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 23000 block of Highway 5. The victim reported a dent in the fender of an Oldsmobile Alero. Damage was estimated at $300.

Jan. 14

9:04 a.m. Robert Wayne Brewer, 36, of Centerville, was charged in the 200 block of West Van Buren Street with third degree burglary.

11:02 a.m. Edward Shane Needels, Jr., 26, of Centerville, was charged in the 200 block of North 13th Street with failure to appear. He later posted bond and was released.

11:13 a.m. Shelauna Renee Dixon, 27, was charged in the 200 block of North 13th Street on two out of county warrants. She was later transferred.

Jan. 16-17

A juvenile was charged at the Law Center with fourth degree theft.
