12:39 a.m. Theft was reported in the 600 block of North Park Street. The victim reported a vehicle registration and keys valued at $55 were stolen.

Oct. 28

3:51 p.m. Thomas Zaputil, of Mystic, was driving a 1997 Kenworth semi pulling a grain trailer and was stopped at the stop sign facing west on Cottage at 18th Street. Lorraine George, of Centerville, was driving a 1997 Oldsmobile and said she thought the semi was parked. She tried to pull her vehicle around the semi when it began to move forward and struck her vehicle. Damage to George’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.

Oct. 30

3:14 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of East State Street. The victim reported $500 in damage to a white 2009 Dodge Journey.

Nov. 4

Jessica Schwering, of Centerville, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala southbound on South Main Street. Bradley Irwin, of Centerville, was backing a 2012 Chevrolet Suburban up from parking lot onto South Main Street. The two vehicles collided. Damage to Schwering’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Damage to Irwin’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500. Irwin was charged with unsafe backing.

10:32 a.m. Wendell Devore, of Mystic, was driving a 1990 Chevrolet eastbound on East Maple Street when a 2000 Dodge driven by Dawniel Beal, of Centerville, pulled out from a stop sign at the intersection of 15th and Maple Streets and the two vehicle collided. Damage to Devore’s vehicle was estimated at $800. Damage to Beal’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Beal was charged with driving while suspended, failure to yield upon entering a through highway and having no insurance.

Nov. 5

12:12 a.m. A juvenile was charged at the Law Center with trespass. At the same time and place another juvenile was charged with trespass and interference with official acts.

10:08 a.m. Theft was reported in the 400 block of East Washington Street. The victim reported a Samsung Free Form cell phone valued at $150 was stolen.

4:40 p.m. Logan Christopher O’Hair, 19, of Centerville, was charged in the 300 block of North 12th Street with possession of a controlled substance. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Nov. 6

Wayne Boland, of Cincinnati, was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger southbound on 18th Street. Stephanie Summers, of Centerville, was driving a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue southbound on North 18th Street. Boland stated that he saw Summers’ vehicle approaching in his mirror at a high rate of speed so he attempted to pull towards the shoulder to avoid a collision. Summers said that Boland’s vehicle was in front of her and suddenly put on his brakes and veered to the right without using his turn signal. Damage to Boland’s vehicle was estimated at $100. Damage to Summers’ vehicle was estimated at $2,500.

12:17 p.m. Two 14-year-old female juveniles were each charged in the 700 block of West Lane Street with tobacco under age.

3:46 p.m. Kelvin K. Clark, 57, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with possession of a controlled substance. He was later released on order of the court.

Nov. 8

4:43 p.m. Theft was reported in the 1900 block of South 18th Street. The victim reported that $65 in cash was stolen.

Nov. 9

2:02 a.m. A juvenile was charged in the 19800 block of St. Joseph’s Drive with possession of alcohol under age and fourth degree criminal mischief.

1;12 p.m. Bill Lee Williams, 61, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with third degree harassment. He was later released on order of the court.

3:26 p.m. Eron Lee Ferroni, 33, of Centerville, was charged in the 500 block of East Van Buren Street with neglect/abandonment of a dependent person and domestic assault-enhanced-aggravated.
