The Centerville City Council will hold a regular meeting Monday, Aug. 19 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

Items on the agenda include approval of Aug. 5 regular meeting minutes, approval of Aug. 7 special meeting minutes, approval of Aug. 13 special meeting minutes, approval of July 18 Historic Preservation Committee meeting minutes, approval of bids, approval of financial statement, department reports from City Administrator, public works, library and airport, Jacob Downs – tax abatement, consider bid for demolition of building at 218 E. Jackson St., second reading of Ord. No. 1302 adding restriction of parking in front yards and side yards adopting SUDA standards, amending Chapters 6.12, 8.46, 8.48, 10.52, 11.08, 11.20 and 17.04.300 and adding Chapter 11.22, Res. No. 2013-3220 changing the date of the first City Council meeting of September 2013, reports, other business, audience questions and comments.

Centerville Municipal Waterworks

The Centerville Municipal Waterworks Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Thursday, Aug. 22 at noon at Centerville City Hall.

Items on the agenda include approval of July 25 meeting minutes, approval of Aug. 8 special meeting minutes, approval of vouchers, public hearing on steel water storage tank repainting project, open bids for the steel water storage tank repainting project, consider resolution ordering award of contract for the steel water storage tank reprinting project, consider authorizing chairman to execute addendum No. 1 to the agreement for professional engineering services for the water system improvements – 2013 project, consider maintenance of land on the reservoir dam and surrounding area, consider assign Patrick Antonen as signer on bank accounts, consider update of Water Department’s rules and regulations, Commissioner of Municipal Services’ report, billing clerk’s report and discussion of any other items which may come before the Board of Trustees.
