11:28 a.m. The owner of a 2013 Toyota Corolla parked at Honey Creek Resort reported damage to the rear end of the vehicle after being parked for five days. The owner was unsure when the damage, estimated at $2,000, occurred.
1:19 a.m. Austin Tyler Faoro, 23, of Mystic, was driving a 2000 GMC Sonoma northbound on Highway S60 when the vehicle went off the right side of the road, crossed the center line, went into the west ditch, slid sideways and rolled onto the driver’s side. Faoro stated he swerved the vehicle after seeing a deer. Damage was estimated at $3,000. Faoro was charged with failure to maintain control.
11:25 p.m. Christina Elizabeth Fowler, 41, of Cincinnati, was stopped at a construction stop light on Highway 5 in a 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when her vehicle was struck by a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Gary Delane See, 59, of Centerville. Damage to Fowler’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000 and to See’s at $300. Nancy Jean See, 49, of Centerville, was listed as possibly injured. Gary See was charged with failure to prove security against liability.
11:41 p.m. Roy Lavern Downing, 89, of Moravia, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on 160th Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and it entered a ditch and struck a tree. Damage to Downing’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000.
1:14 p.m. Raymond Joseph McElvain, 16, of Centerville, was driving a 2001 Ford F150 south in the 21000 block of 135th Avenue. The driver stated a deer entered the road and he lost control of the vehicle trying to avoid the deer. The vehicle went off the east side of the road and turned over. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
2:35 p.m. Kyle Lee Jellison, 26, of Seymour, was charged in the 900 block of West Lee Street with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, trespass and simple assault. He later posted bond and was released.
