5:45 p.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff's office reported a single vehicle accident near 135th Avenue and 600th Street. Mamie Elizabeth Armstrong, 18, of Unionville, Mo., was driving a 2003 Kia Specta eastbound on 600th Street lost control on the gravel road, entered the ditch and rolled the vehicle. Armstrong was listed with possible injuries and was taken to the hospital for minor cuts. A passenger not named in the accident report refused treatment. No charges were filed. Damage to the Kia was estimated at $2,500.
