7:43 p.m. Robert Darrell Harris, 71, of Moulton, was driving a 1978 John Deere tractor southbound on the shoulder of the road, mowing the ditch, when the vehicle encountered an area of the shoulder that had been washed out causing the vehicle to roll onto its passenger side. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Harris was transported to Davis County Hospital by Moulton First Responders with non-incapacitating injuries.
7:06 a.m. Douglas Andrew Stanley, 47, of Norwalk, was driving a 2007 Ford Cutaway southbound on Highway 5. Nelson Bradley Michael II, 27, of Centerville, was driving a 2009 Ford Econoline southbound on Highway 5. Michael’s vehicle drifted across the center line causing both mirrors to hit. The accident was witnessed by Michelle May. Damage to Stanley’s vehicle was estimated at $200. Damage to Michaels’ vehicle was estimated at $200. Michael was charged with failure to yield half of the roadway when meeting a vehicle.
6:02 a.m. Robert Benson Pease, 47, of Moulton, was driving a 2008 Ford union northbound in the 17000 block of Highway T61 when a deer entered the roadway and was hit. Damage to Pease’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
4:51 p.m. Burglary was reported in the 400 block of West Washington Street. The victim reported a laptop compeer valued at $300 was stolen.
8:37 a.m. Judith Ann Millemon, 62, of Moravia, was driving a 2006 Saturn Ion north on Williams Street. Bill Lee Mullins, 55, of Moravia, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe west on Chariton Street. Millemon stopped her vehicle stopped at a stop sign. Mullins stopped his vehicle at the stop sign after Millemon’s vehicle was already stopped. Millemon’s vehicle started to go through the intersection when Mullins’ vehicle left the stop sign and hit Millemon’s vehicle in the middle of the passenger front and year doors. Mullins admitted her left the stop sign after Millemon’s vehicle started through the intersect. no one was injured. Damage to Millemon’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Damage to Mullins’ vehicle was estimated at $800.
1:51 p.m. A hit and run was reported in the 900 block of West Maple Street. The victim reported $1,200 in damage to a garage.
Steven Howe, of Centerville, was driving a 2008 Buick Lucerne on the Centerville Square when he missed a turn and struck a fire hydrant. Damage was estimated at $1,500. Howe was charged with failure to have a driver’s license.
11:46 a.m. Theft was reported in the 1000 block of South Main Street. An employee reported $50.19 of gas stolen.
3:54 p.m. Zachary James Elarton, 20, of Centerville, had his probation/parole revoked in the 200 block of West Van Buren Street. He later posted bond and was released.
8:37 p.m. Roy Andrew Heartley, 48, of Centerville, was charged in the 200 block of East Jackson Street with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia He also had his parole/probation revoked.
6:14 p.m. April Marie Holladay, 29, of Moulton, was charged in the 300 block of East Grant Street with domestic assault causing bodily injury. She was later released on her own recognizance.
8:16 p.m. Zachary Bocephus Egbert, 27, of Centerville, had his pre-trial release revoked in the 100 block of West Van Buren Street.
11:38 p.m. John Anthony Susin, 58, of Centerville, was charged in the 200 block of East Jackson Street with public intoxication and interference with official acts.
