June 4

1:30 p.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s office reported a three vehicle accident at North Main Street and state Highway 202 in Moulton. The driver of vehicle one, John George Hargrave, 72, of Moulton, was traveling south on Main Street in Moulton when he fell asleep which caused him to crash into the second vehicle, a 2003 GMC Envoy XL, which forced it into the third vehicle, a 2010 Dodge Nitro. Both vehicle two and three were legally parked and unoccupied at the time. Hargrave did strike a business wall with his vehicle, a 2009 Ford Edge PC. Damage to Hargrave’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to the GMC was estimated at $3,000. Damage to the Nitro was estimated at $2,000. Hargrave was listed with possible injuries.

June 16

12:40 a.m. Crystal Renea Ingersoll, 29, of Centerville, was charged in the 1000 block of E. Maple St. with public intoxication. She was released on her own recognizance later that day.

12:45 p.m. The Appanoose County Sheriff’s office reported an accident in the 31000 block of Highway 2. A 2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE driven by Jessica Nichole Milburn, 17, of Centerville, struck a deer while traveling east in the 31000 block of Highway 2 then spun out and entered the west side ditch. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained an estimated $1,600 in damages.
