Aug. 4

10:44 p.m. Joslyn Kate Henderson, 16, of Centerville was driving a 2008 Hyundai Elantra south in the 19000 block of 160th Avenue and swerved to miss hitting a deer and lost control of the vehicle. Henderson was listed with non-incapacitating injuries. Damage was estimated at $6,000.

Aug. 9

6:19 p.m. Tammi Rene West, 40, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with out of county warrant.

Aug. 10

6:12 a.m. Michael Darrell Maynes, 49, of Greenfield was driving a 1996 Ford Escort east in the 29000 block of Highway 2 and struck a deer that had entered the roadway. Maynes was not injured. Damage was estimated at $3,500.

Aug. 11

12:50 a.m. Tammy Faye Norris, 44, of Albia, was charged in the 16000 block of Highway J18 with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with official acts and open container in motor vehicle. She was released on her own recognizance at 8:20 p.m.

Aug. 12

10:20 a.m. Jason William Biwer, 40, of Iowa City was driving a 2002 Honda Odyssey west in the 27000 block of 420th Street and lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch. Biwer was later located and charged with drunken driving. Biwer was transported to Mercy Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. He was also charged with failure to maintain control. Damage was estimated at $4,000.

11:39 a.m. Jason William Biwer, 40, of Iowa City, was charged on the Moravia Square with drunken driving, second offense.
