The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigated a personal injury accident east of Corydon at Highway 2 and Highway S40. A 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Roger Jay Raum, 57, of Centerville and a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by James Edmund Pollak, 63, of Corydon, collided at the intersection. Raum was transported to the Wayne County Hospital by the Wayne County ambulance. Damage to Raums’s car was estimated at $8,000 and to Pollak’s truck at $5,000.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua Linn Ford, 22, of Seymour, on a charge of driving while revoked following a traffic stop in Seymour. Ford appeared before the magistrate the following day and was released on his own recognizance.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigated a property damage accident approximately 11 miles west of Corydon. A 1998 Ford F150 pulling a camper and a two-axle trailer driven by Kristopher Jay Lindsey, 29, of Leon, was westbound on Highway 2 when the trailer began to fishtail. The trailer rolled into the north ditch and the camper came free from its frame and rolled onto its side on the roadway. Total damage to Lindsey’s truck, camper, trailer and golf cart was estimated at $4,400. The Humeston Fire Department assisted at the scene with traffic control.
Corydon Police arrested Joshua William Tulp, 26, of Taylors Falls, Minn., on a charge of public intoxication following an incident on the Corydon square. Tulp was held overnight in the Wayne County Jail and released the following afternoon on a promise to appear.
