6:20 p.m. Dennis Carl Claman, 64, of Unionville, Mo., was driving a 2013 Dodge Ram southbound on Highway 202 when a deer entered the roadway from the east and was struck. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.

Dec. 14

5:45 p.m. Chad Lee Sheets, 40, of Mystic, was driving a 2002 Ford F150 northbound on Highway T14 when the vehicle struck a deer near the intersection of 490th Street and Highway T14. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.

11:42 p.m. Janet F. Harding, 53, of Byron, Ill., was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Venture eastbound in the 18000 block of Highway 2 when the vehicle struck a deer. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.

Dec. 18

6:21 p.m. Tyler Wayne Shanahan, 19, of Centerville, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Highway 2. A 1994 Chevrolet C1500 driven by Jason Ray Wells, 20, of Cincinnati, was following Shanahan’s vehicle. Shanahan stated a deer entered the roadway and he slowed to avoid hitting the deer. Shanahan’s vehicle was rear ended by Wells’ vehicle. Damage to Shanahan’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500. Damage to Wells’ vehicle was estimated at $3,500. Wells was listed as possibly injured.

8:43 p.m. Sheryl Ann Bishop, 60, of Moravia, was driving a 2008 Ford Taurus northbound on Highway 5 when a vehicle traveling southbound struck a deer that entered the roadway causing the deer to enter the northbound lane where Bishop’s vehicle struck it. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.

10:02 p.m. Judith Earhart, 70, of Centerville, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape southbound on Highway 5 when a deer entered the roadway from the east and was struck by the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.

Dec. 19

6:58 a.m. Teresa Jean Thomas, 48, of Agency, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado south on Highway 5 when the deer ran into the left front corner of the vehicle. The driver sustained minor injuries and refused treatment. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

Dec. 21

12:46 a.m. Paul Jason Hornaday, 38, of Centerville, was charged at 180th Avenue and Highway J46 with public intoxication, having an open container in a motor vehicle and domestic assault enhanced. He was later given pre-trial release.

12:55 a.m. Debra Lynn Worley, 49, of Centerville, was charged at 180th Avenue and Highway J46 with OWI first offense and having an open container in motor vehicle. She was later released on her own recognizance.

Dec. 26

1:13 p.m. Blaine Wray Pigsley, 40, of Moulton, was charged at 475th Street and Highway T61 with driving with a suspended license. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Dec. 28

7:03 p.m. William Leo Brookhart, 19, of Centerville, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet S10 northbound on 215th Avenue when the driver rounded a curve and the vehicle wouldn’t turn. The vehicle entered the east ditch striking a tree. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000.

Dec. 29

7:20 p.m. Brandy Lynn Fowler, 36, of Rock Island, Ill., was charged in the 1000 block of North Shamrock Lane with failure to appear.

Dec. 31

9:24 p.m. Donald John Hansen, 52, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with intimidation with a dangerous weapon. He was later released on his own recognizance.

6:24 p.m. Mark Benjamin Hancox, 60, of Centerville, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Highway 5 when a deer entered the roadway and was struck. Damage to the vehicle with $2,500.

Jan. 1

2 a.m. Derek Lee Lynch, 19, of Centerville, was charged at Highways 2 and S70 with OWI second offense. He was later released on his own recognizance.

Jan. 2

2:19 p.m. Anthony Skilar Pierce, 26, of Centerville, was charged in the 900 block of East Green Street on an out of county warrant. He later posted bond and was released.

Jan. 6

Steven Scott Waller, 44, of Davenport, was charged in the 700 block of West Willow Lane with simple domestic assault, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.
