12:27 p.m. Tabitha Lynn Farris, 22, of Centerville, was driving a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser westbound on Grant Street. Randy Wayne Cole, 55, of Centerville, was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse northbound on 14th Street. Cole was unable to stop his vehicle at the stop sign located at Grant and 14th streets and the vehicle slid through the stop sign striking Farris’ vehicle on the driver’s side. Damage to Farris’ vehicle was estimated at $1,000. Damage to Cole’s vehicle was estimated at $500. Cole was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device.

4:49 p.m. Hal Joseph Dixon, Jr., 48, of Moulton, was charged in the 100 block of East Jackson Street with driving while barred, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He later posted bond and was released.

Feb. 20

12:24 a.m. Brandin Lee Cole, 20, of Centerville, was charged in the 500 block of North Second Street with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol under age.

7:50 a.m. Tyler Jace Cash, 16, of Centerville, was driving a 1997 Ford Mustang and made a left hand turn from the stop sign at the intersection of West Cottage Street and South Main Street into the side of 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Christopher Bryan Sadler, 27, of Centerville. Sadler’s vehicle was northbound on South Main Street and had the right of way. Cash’s vehicle had an estimated $300 in damage. Sadler’s vehicle had an estimated $2,800 in damage. Cash was charged with failure to obey a stop sign.

10:22 p.m. Jerry Wayne Vancenbrock, 48, of Centerville, was charged in the 200 block of East Jackson Street with public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 23

8:15 p.m. Mitchell Rex Irwin, 51, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with failure to maintain control, driving on the wrong side of the highway, excessive speed, failure to obey a stop sign, careless driving, reckless driving, eluding a law enforcement vehicle and assault on an officer with a weapon.
