5:58 a.m. The theft of a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville valued at $5,000 was reported in the 800 block of South Tenth Street.

May 5

9:25 a.m. Theft was reported in the 100 block of North 18th Street. The victim reported an iPod touch valued at $300 stolen.

May 8

6:02 p.m. Burglary/theft was reported in the 1100 block of South 16th Street. The victim reported that and television and moves valued at $1,500 were stolen.

May 10

5:43 a.m. Theft was reported in the 500 block of North Tenth Street. The victim reported the theft of a 2000 Chevrolet S10 valued at $5,000.

May 13

An accident was reported at 18th and Washington streets. Jean Wakefield, of Mystic, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and was stopped at a stop sign on the east side of the intersection of North 18th and East Washington streets. Tyler Thompson, of Moulton, was driving a 2007 Ford Focus southbound on North 18th Street. Danielle Hodges, of Centerville, was driving a 2002 Nissan Maxima that was stopped on the west side of the intersection of North 18th and East Washington street. Wakefield proceeded to pull her vehicle from the stop sign to cross North 18th Street and didn’t see Thompson’s vehicle. Thompson attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to do so. After the first collision, Wakefield’s vehicle was pushed into Hodges’ vehicle. Thompson’s vehicle was pushed off the road. Damage to Wakefield’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000. Damage to Thompson’s vehicle was estimated at $4,500. Damage to Hodges’ vehicle was estimated at 2,500. Wakefield was charged with failure to obey a stop sign.

May 13

2 p.m. Burglary was reported in the 1200 block of North 18th Street. The victim reported speakers valued at $55 were stolen.

May 16

10:24 a.m. Amy Sue Cunningham, 21, of Centerville, was charged in the 700 block of North 18th Street with interference with official acts and second degree criminal mischief. She was later released on her own recognizance.

4:34 p.m. Joseph Victor Depaula, 28, of Cincinnati, was charged at 22nd and East Clark streets with driving while barred and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released on his own recognizance.

May 17

12:52 a.m. William Bryant Lambert, 22, of Unionville, Mo., was charged in the 600 block of North 18th Street with possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:58 p.m. Robert Molloy Wakefield, Jr., 54, of Mystic, was charged in the 900 block of East Washington Street with disorder conduct. He was later released on his own recognizance.

8:41 p.m. Mark Jeffrey Judge, 28, of Plano, was charged at Tenth and West Jackson streets with driving with a suspended license. He later posted bond and was released.

May 18

12:34 a.m. Heather Leann Lee, 24, of Centerville, was charged at 15th and East Washington streets with OWI, second offense.

May 20

10:34 a.m. Susan Carol Hirsch, 53, of Centerville, was charged in the 1100 block of South Main Street with having an animal at large.

11:03 a.m. An accident was reported in the 200 block of North 13th Street. Hope Engle, of Centerville, was backing a 2003 Ford from the East curb when she lost control of the vehicle and it struck a parked 2007 Chevrolet owned by Marlys Pearcy, of Leon, striking the right rear door. Damage to Engle’s vehicle was estimated at $100. Damage to Pearcy’s vehicle was estimated at $1,800. Engle was charged with failure to maintain control.
