5:58 a.m. The theft of a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville valued at $5,000 was reported in the 800 block of South Tenth Street.
9:25 a.m. Theft was reported in the 100 block of North 18th Street. The victim reported an iPod touch valued at $300 stolen.
6:02 p.m. Burglary/theft was reported in the 1100 block of South 16th Street. The victim reported that and television and moves valued at $1,500 were stolen.
5:43 a.m. Theft was reported in the 500 block of North Tenth Street. The victim reported the theft of a 2000 Chevrolet S10 valued at $5,000.
An accident was reported at 18th and Washington streets. Jean Wakefield, of Mystic, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix and was stopped at a stop sign on the east side of the intersection of North 18th and East Washington streets. Tyler Thompson, of Moulton, was driving a 2007 Ford Focus southbound on North 18th Street. Danielle Hodges, of Centerville, was driving a 2002 Nissan Maxima that was stopped on the west side of the intersection of North 18th and East Washington street. Wakefield proceeded to pull her vehicle from the stop sign to cross North 18th Street and didn’t see Thompson’s vehicle. Thompson attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to do so. After the first collision, Wakefield’s vehicle was pushed into Hodges’ vehicle. Thompson’s vehicle was pushed off the road. Damage to Wakefield’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000. Damage to Thompson’s vehicle was estimated at $4,500. Damage to Hodges’ vehicle was estimated at 2,500. Wakefield was charged with failure to obey a stop sign.
2 p.m. Burglary was reported in the 1200 block of North 18th Street. The victim reported speakers valued at $55 were stolen.
10:24 a.m. Amy Sue Cunningham, 21, of Centerville, was charged in the 700 block of North 18th Street with interference with official acts and second degree criminal mischief. She was later released on her own recognizance.
