Centerville School Board

The Centerville School Board will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Administration Building.

Items on the agenda include representatives from the Centerville Schools Foundation to present proposals for updates to Simon Estes Auditorium, approval of resignations, transfers and employment contracts, approval of teaching staff realignment, approval of school resource officer contract with city of Centerville, approval of catastrophic insurance plan for Howar Junior High, discussion of progress of auction of district items, discussion of 2013-2014 school registration, appointing two board members to serve on policy committee review, approval of purchase of a school suburban, approval of final payment for high school parking lot paving project, approval of donating presidential busts to the city of Mystic, approval of student handbooks, approval of Activity Fund transfer, approval of first reading to Policy Series 700 review/updates, discussion of annual Activities Department annual goals, approval of sports officials’ contracts, administrative reports and approval of financial reports.

Rathbun City Council

The Rathbun City Council will meet Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. at Rathbun Community Center.

Items on the agenda include approval of July minutes, approval of financial and LOST reports, approval of bills paid and to be paid, approval of resolution to set fine amount for non-compliance with mowing, discussion of regional planning contribution for council of governments in the amount of $83, new business and scheduling a meeting for September.

Centerville Municipal Waterworks

The Centerville Municipal Waterworks Board of Trustees will meet Thursday, Aug. 15 at noon at Centerville City Hall.

Items on the agenda include approval of July 25 meeting minutes, approval of Aug. 8 special meeting minutes, approval of vouchers, considering adding Patrick Antonen as signer on bank accounts, consider updating of Water Department rules and regulations, Commissioner of Municipal Services’ report, billing clerk’s report and discussion of any other items which may come before the Board.
