Robert Today, of Centerville, was driving a 1990 Oldsmobile Regency westbound on Maple Street and entered the center turn lane to turn south on Valley Drive. Donald Hunt, of Centerville, was driving a 2006 Pontiac Vibe eastbound and entered the center turning lane to turn onto Fifth Street. Both vehicles were in the turning lane and collided head on. Both vehicle entered the turn lane too early. Damage to Today’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Damage to Hunt’s vehicle was estimated at $4,500.

11:58 p.m. Burglary and theft were reported in the 400 block of East Walsh Street. The victim reported jewelry, a purse, make-up and a platter valued at $1,450 were stolen.

Nov. 10

10:24 p.m. Christopher Glenn Mark Cooprider, 26, of Centerville, was charged in the 500 block of North Park Avenue with third degree harassment.

Nov. 13

Garett Owens, of Centerville was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo eastbound on 520th Street when the vehicle struck a deer crossing the road. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

Nov. 14

11:53 p.m. John Allen Proffer, Jr., 20, of Ottumwa, had his pre-trial release revoked at 407th Street and Highway T61.

Nov. 15

3:44 p.m. Richard Brian Mason, 33, of Centerville, was charged at Haynes Avenue and East Madison Street with larceny.

4:45 p.m. Jacob Leroy Owens, 25, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with failure to appear. He later posted bond and was released.

Nov. 16

6:49 a.m. Lorrie Gene Thudium, 32, of Centerville, was charged in the 500 block of West Washington Street with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear.

11:04 p.m. Justin Anthony Susin, 35, of Centerville, was charged at East Orchard Street and North Haynes Avenue with disorderly conduct.

Nov. 17

9:12 a.m. Burglary and theft were reported in the 200 block of West Water Street. The victim reported name badges and safety glasses valued at $10 were stolen.

10:45 a.m. Clarence Lynn Butterbaugh, 60, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with fifth degree theft.

11:38 a.m. Clarence Allan Jessop, 25, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with fifth degree theft.

Nov. 18

Elizabeth Johnson, of Centerville, was driving a 2003 Dodge Caravan north on South 15th Street with a frost covered windshield. Johnson did not see a parked 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Lacie Ocker and collided with the driver’s side of the vehicle. Damage to Johnson’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Damage to Ocker’s vehicle was estimated at $6,500. Johnson was charged with failure to maintain control.

6:58 a.m. Billy Arthur Castillo, 36, of Centerville, was charged at 600 North Fourth Street with enhanced, aggravated domestic assault.

7:45 a.m. Dailyn Ashley Pent, 24, of Centerville, was charged at 600 North Fourth Street on an out of county warrant.

Nov. 19

2:37 p.m. Cristy Lee Thudium, 34, of Centerville, was charged at the Law Center with failure to appear and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released on order of the court.

4:17 p.m. Tara Jane Murphy-Trimble, 31, of Seymour, was charged at the Law Center with fifth degree theft. She was later released on order of the court.
