Nov. 1
8:39 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway 5. Leona Marie Lewis, 23, of Moravia was driving a 2004 Saturn northbound on Highway 5 when she struck a deer in the roadway causing an estimated $1,000 in damage to her vehicle.
Nov. 6
3:35 a.m. An accident was reported on Highway J3T. Stephanie Ann Beinhart, 41, of Moravia was driving a 1998 Ford westbound on Highway J3T when she swerved to miss a deer, lost control and entered a ditch. Beinhart’s vehicle struck the guide wires of a utility pole and rolled at least once, coming to rest on its wheels in the timber. Beinhart was transported to Mercy Medical Center in an ambulance with non-incapacitating injuries. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000. Damage to the utility pole was estimated at $2,000.

1:05 a.m. An accident was reported on 405th Street. Matthew Mikel Kaster, 18, of Moravia was driving a 1986 Ford southbound on 405th Street when he attempted to turn westbound at a sharp corner. Kaster lost control of the vehicle, which entered the ditch and rolled over on its top causing an estimated $1,000 in damage.

6:49 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway 2. Stephanie Terese Allender, 31, of Fort Madison was driving a 2001 Ford eastbound on Highway 2 when she struck a deer in the roadway causing an estimated $1,000 in damage to her vehicle.
7:52 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway 5. Ronald Dean Repp, 68, of Moravia was driving a 1996 Dodge northbound on Highway 5 when he struck a deer in the roadway causing an estimated $2,000 in damage to his vehicle.
Nov. 9
4:51 p.m. An accident was reported on Highway 2. Heidi Melita Keller, 33, of Seymour was driving a 2007 Toyota westbound on Highway 2 when a deer entered the roadway and struck the side of the vehicle behind the driver’s side door. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
