An accident was reported at North 18th and East Oak Streets. Samanda Parham of Moravia was driving a 2003 Ford owned by Jaqueline Richardson pulled out of the Hy-Vee parking lot directly into the path of a 1995 Dodge driven by Jeffrey Richmond of Centerville and owned by Mildred Richmond. Both cars received damage and both drivers were listed as injured. Parham was charged with failure to yield to a through highway.
Oct. 12
An accident was reported at O’Briant Street and McCarthy Road. Gary Henshaw of Centerville was driving a 2001 Mack Semi for Rathbun Area Solid Waste Commission and turning south onto O’Briant Street. Robert Wood of Cincinnati was driving a 1996 Dodge north on O’Briant and struck Henshaw’s vehicle just in front of the wheels on the trailer. Wood’s vehicle sustained front end damage and he was charged with failure to maintain control.
