3:29 p.m. An accident was reported at Main and Grand. A 1992 Ford driven by Casey Schmell of Centerville and a 1999 Dodge driven by Angela Jessop of Centerville collided. Schmell was cited for failure to maintain control and Jessop was cited for having an expired registration. Damage was estimated at none to the Schmell vehicle and $1,500 to Jessop’s.

Aug. 26

1:10 p.m. Theft was reported in the 2700 block of Dewey Road. License plates valued at $5 were reported stolen from a vehicle.

Aug. 28

9:14 a.m. Larceny-motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South 15th. A 1981 Honda motorcycle valued at $2,000 was reported stolen. It was located in the 400 block of Sawyers Court.

8:07 p.m. John Herbert Weishaar, 45, of Centerville was charged in the 100 block of North 15th with simple assault.

10:43 p.m. Earl Wayne Clark, 47, of Centerville was charged at 18th and Van Buren with probation/ parole revocation.

Aug. 29

1:55 p.m. Christopher Matthew Farrell, 29, of Chariton was charged in the 200 block of East Jackson (DHS) with possession with intent to deliver/manufacture/conspir­acy of a controlled substance.

3 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported in the 400 block of East Elm. Five vehicles were reportedly damaged, estimated at $3,575.

6:06 p.m. Theft was reported in the 1500 block of East Grant. a 26-inch black Murray bike and a 26-inch pink and gray Powerclimber bike, valued at $500, were reported stolen.

10:27 p.m. Christopher Garrett Allen, 18, of Unionville, Mo., was charged in the 100 block of Haynes with disorderly conduct.

Aug. 30

1:36 a.m. Jason Brady Hughes, 33, of Centerville was charged on the square with public intoxication.
