Kendall Richardson, Vernon Trower and Randy Richardson reported that their mail boxes had been vandalized.
Aug. 1
Bill Byrns of Allerton reported that several items had been taken from a shed on his property. Reported missing were three cases of potato chips, a cutting torch, a sledge hammer and two gas cans. The missing items were estimated to be worth $125.
Aug. 2
Keith Davis of Corydon reported that someone had driven through part of his corn field and a neighboring corn field in Washington Township. It was then discovered that a Briggs & Stratton gas generator was missing from a shed on the property. The generator was valued at $1,200.
Aug. 2
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Gaylen Marie Stark, 23, of Leon on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear. Stark appeared before a District Court judge and was released on her own recognizance.
Aug. 3
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jacob Duane Miner, 26, of Humeston on a charge of disorderly conduct following an incident in Humeston. Miner appeared before a District Judge the following day and was released on his own recognizance.
