1:27 p.m.

Michael Lee Powers, 41, of Centerville was charged in the 1000 block of West Madison with allowing trash to accumulate, hog and chicken pens and no permit for a cow, hog and chicken.

2:07 p.m. A non-reportable accident occur­red in the 600 block of East Orchard. A 2006 Chevrolet pulled into an automatic car wash, striking the wash machine. Damage amount was not listed.

July 8

7:25 a.m. Theft was reported at an unknown location. Taken were money and postage stamps valued at $420, reported stolen from a wallet.

5:24 p.m. Theft was reported in the 200 block of North 15th. Money and prescription medication valued at $120 were reported stolen from a residence and vehicle.

July 9

8:40 a.m. An accident was reported in the 600 block of East Prairie. Police said a 1993 Chevrolet driven by  Delvian Padellford of Centerville struck a utility pole as she was leaning over to get her purse. Damage to her vehicle was estimated at $1,200.

July 10

4:07 a.m. An accident was reported at 13th and Maple. A 2005 Chevrolet driven by Richard Squires of Centerville, owned by Ideal Ready Mix, struck a pole. Police said Squires stated he began to cough uncontrollably, turned to the right and struck the pole which received estimated damage of $200. Estimated damage to the vehicle was $2,000.

11:30 a.m. An accident was reported at Haynes and State. A 2000 Buick driven by Eunice Mickey of Centerville and a 2001 Pontiac driven by Geraldine McClain of Centerville collided at the intersection when they both pulled into the intersection at the same time. Damage was estimated at $500 to Mickey’s vehicle and $800 to McClain’s.

4:04 p.m.

Nicole Renee Walker, 20, of Centerville was charged on the square with disorderly conduct and trespass.

8:15 p.m. Steven Edward Stickler, 18, of Centerville was charged at 19th and Walsh with possession of alcohol under age.
