12:33 p.m. An accident was reported near Moulton. Christopher Scott Overbay, 25 of Newton was driving a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle when he tried to pass a car. Overbay stated he failed to see a second vehicle in front of the first preparing to turn left. Overbay stated he applied brakes causing the rear wheel of the bike to lock up and he and the bike to go down. Overbay was transported to Mercy Medical Center. Damage to the bike was estimated at $500.
