9:18 a.m. Timmy Leslie Leopard, Jr., 27, of Mystic was charged at 1125 W. Van Buren St. with interference with official acts, operating a vehicle without the owners consent, eluding law enforcement vehicles and assault on an officer with intent.
10:25 a.m. Kenneth Patrick Roberts, 28, of Moravia was charged at the Law Center with failure to appear.
8:58 p.m. An accident was reported in the 13000 block of Highway J18. A 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by Dennis Wayne Proctor, 62, of Bloomfield was eastbound on Highway J18 when a deer entered the road from the south. The vehicle struck the deer and stopped on the north shoulder of the road. Damage to Proctor’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
May 13
12:14 a.m. An accident was reported in the 13000 block of Highway 2. A 2002 Dodge Neon driven by Gene Ray Stansberry, 30, of Centerville was eastbound on Highway 2 when a deer entered the road from the south. The vehicle struck the deer. Damage to Stansberry’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
8:45 p.m. Dustin Dean Moore, 22, of Centerville was charged in the 300 block of West Jackson with trespass.

A one-vehicle accident was reported at 140th Street and Ohio Road. A 1987 Chevy pickup driven by Justin Allen Keller, 17, of Allerton was westbound on Ohio Road. As it came to the curve at 140th Street, the driver swerved to miss a deer. The truck went into the ditch and rolled onto its top. Damage to Keller’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000. Keller was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.

Leonard Dean Schakel, 27, of Plano was charged with third degree sexual abuse and supplying alcohol to a minor in connection with an incident at an Allerton residence on April 26. Schakel appeared before the magistrate the following day and is currently being held in the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $12,000 bond.
