April 30
1:02 a.m. An accident was reported in the 12000 block of Highway J46. A 1993 Ford pickup driven by Chuck Dean Lenig, 45, of Seymour swerved to miss a deer and overturned. There were no injuries. Lenig was cited for failure to maintain control.

Corydon police charged Vickie Jo Williams, 32, of Corydon with driving while suspended. The owner of the vehicle, Zachary Bryan Mescher, 27, of Corydon was issued a citation for allowing an unauthorized person to drive. Williams appeared before the magistrate and was released on her own recognizance.
April 18
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office charged two male juveniles, 16 and 17, with second degree criminal mischief in connection with four-wheel-drive vehicles tearing up sod at the Humeston Reservoir. The 16 year old was also charged with driving while suspended. Both were released to their parents and referred to juvenile authorities. Damage to the sod was listed at $1,475.
April 23
Fowler Elevator in Seymour reported to Seymour police that anhydrous ammonia had been taken and equipment damaged at the location south of Seymour. Approximately $100 in anhydrous ammonia was taken and the equipment damage was listed at $1,000.
April 26
