CENTERVILLE — This photo shows the Standard Station that stood on the corner of 12th and Maple for many years. In October of 1961, the station had a Grand Opening when Bill Russell took over managing the Standard Station from Bob Young. Bob Young and John Lewis were embarking on a new industry for Centerville – Kamp-A-While Industries. On the far right in the picture is one of the campers that were manufactured in Centerville from 1962 until 1969.
