A Centerville man won a top prize of $25,000 playing the lottery’s “North Pole Bingo” instant-scratch game.
Brandon Bratz claimed his prize Friday at the Iowa Lottery’s headquarters in Des Moines. He purchased his winning ticket at Bratz Oil Corporation, 102 Drake Ave. in Centerville.
North Pole Bingo is a $2 scratch game.
Since the lottery’s start in 1985, its players have won more than $2.9 billion in prizes while the lottery has raised more than $1.4 billion for the state programs that benefit all Iowans.
