Ross assumes command of the Special Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command

CENTERVILLE — Army Lt. Col. George L. Ross has assumed command of the Special Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command, 10th Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Bragg, N.C.

Ross has served in the military for 20 years.

He is the son of Larry and Robert Ross of Copperwood Drive, Lebanon, and Larry and Roberta Ross of Unionville, Mo.

Ross graduated in 1988 from Putnam County R1 High School, Unionville, and received a bachelor of arts in 1992 from Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Va. He also earned a master of arts in 2000 from the University of Phoenix, Albuquerque, N.M.
