Recently the three-day class and the two-day class at Bright Beginnings Preschool celebrated Mother’s Day. The children and their mothers attended “Muffins with Mom,” a fun time that included singing, stories and delicious muffins.
The children entertained their mothers with some favorite songs and then sat down to enjoy stories read by special guests. On Wednesday, Mary Louise Mathews read to the three-day class while on Thursday, Bev Frevert read to the two-day class. The stories were about moms and their children.
Also entertaining the children and their moms on Wednesday was Pancake Day Queen Shelby Royer. Shelby played several children’s songs on her saxophone and then helped the teachers as they served muffins and juice.
The preschoolers and their mothers enjoyed their morning together.
